Common, everyday tools of domesticity – the hanger, the faucet, the broom, and the stool are so mundane and ordinary that we almost forget how beautiful they are as still objects possessing the most intriguing colors. The rustic concrete wall covered in green moss serves as the perfect backdrop for the thin, yellow contours of the hanger and the hot pink rag adds a surprising glamour on the otherwise dull broom. These useful tools are made wonderfully beautiful by their useless colors, calling into question the significance of colors in our everyday encounters.
