2020. Acrylic on paper, 29 x 20 cm

This small acrylic painting, first of a series of equal sized half-abstract frames, happened as an experiment of gesture and texture, on a three-color principle and scribbled with mere palm and fingers. The birds revealed themselves afterwards, no wander- during the enclosure, more because of motherhood rather than the pandemic, I find myself repeating ´oh look, there is another black bird´, as the mundane urban fauna flies around the house in the morning.
