The main theme of my works in a wider context is the recognition of human reactions between life and relationship which could be spiritual, psychological, mental or physical. It can be emotional expression from the surrounding circumstances or the question of conflicts of layered systems as required by society or theological belief. International marriage, living in the western culture as an Asian woman and having Christian belief in a contemporary art scene, these minor identical experiences influenced my works. Although not having reached definitive conclusions, I attempt to glimpse at the interplay and the affect-effect something that exists which I cannot explain well. I am rummaging images and narratives piece by piece from inner thoughts. It is more like an emotional response or attempts of questioning. Works could be debris of life events from my circumstances.
