Tin and glass had a close relationship in history. Molten tin was made to produce flat glasses, and tin oxide was added to glass to make the white colour seen in the glass. This effect was not limited to tin oxide but extended to other metals in its use to colour glass. These facts inspired me to further investigate the effects of combining metal oxides and glass. My works focus on capturing the moments of colouring glass, along with exploring its various optical qualities.
