Ryoji Morimoto Japan Mix Media

I got this idea from Japanese old poem and good luck motifs.I based this piece on the style and atmosphere of ancient Japanese poetry infused with traditional good luck motifs this work tells the story of abandoned village in which some plants are still growing. These plants are good luck motifs that were planted by the original inhabitants. It is melancholic as the good fortune of the plants is wasted as they would act to protect from evil and promote health in the children of the village. Size: height about 1900mm, length about 1900mm.
