This is a painting of Nofara cafe in Damascus - Syria. its the oldest cafe in Damascus and more than 500 years old. located in the old town and is one of the most popular spots to visit by both locals and tourists. The name Nofara means (fountain) in Arabic and it refers to a fountain that used to be close to the cafe years ago. in this painting I wanted to show the daily life at this place, the energy and vibes of the people there. people drinking tea and smoking hooka. walkers by and art galleries close by. this painting was done in 2018. framed and ready to hang on a wall. size 16x24 inch
